L’edizione 2025 del Tolkien Reading Day è stata celebrata dallo staff di Racconti di Tolkien e Where Once was Light now Darkness Falls con la lettura di un brano dal Silmarillion, che racconta della caccia a Carcharoth, il Lupo di Morgoth, nei boschi del Doriath, da parte della Compagnia formata da Beren Erchamion, Huan il mastino di Valinor, Thingol Signore del Doriath, Beleg Cùthalion e Mablung dalla Mano Pesante.
Il testo è stato letto nella versione pubblicata del Silmarillion in lingua italiana, tradotta da Francesco Saba Sardi.
